Shampoo shield for adults - tested on humans

Posted by Litzy Thomsen on

Why should adults use a shampoo screen? I originally created a shampoo screen for adults because I had a need myself. When I started working more in-depth with the shampoo screen, I discovered that among older people there is also a great need to relieve the hair washing situation. To understand the problem for people with dementia, one must realize that for a person with dementia, washing their hair is "new" every time. The person with dementia does not always fully understand what is going on and becomes insecure, reactive or resistant, making it impossible or very difficult to wash...

Shampoo screen - a comfortable new aid for the elderly and those with dementia

As Capzy is completely tight, can be adjusted to the head size and is easy to handle, it has been highly praised for these properties by the staff. The carers have also focused on the fact that the softness of the silicone and the transparent model mean that the elderly do not feel uncomfortable and do not feel enclosed by having the screen put on, and that the elderly are very calm and enjoy washing their hair together with the carer.

A world of difference - or making a difference in the world

Since I was a child, I've always wanted to invent something. When I read Donald Duck magazines, I loved when there were stories with George Gearløs and his helper. I really liked all the crazy and funny inventions they could make and the quirky ways they solved different problems.

I thought it would be so cool to be able to invent things that people would actually use and enjoy. And then imagine being able to invent something that could actually change the world. It must be a fantastic feeling to be able to solve problems in larger contexts, such as those of an environmental nature. I'm a huge fan of Elon Musk, who in my children's lifetime will be able to transport people to Mars, just as he is drilling tunnels under Los Angeles for cars to avoid the busy and heavy traffic. There are also hyperloops between other big cities. That's really crazy. It's not quite in that caliber that I'm in ;-) But it doesn't have to be in that order either.

Posted by Litzy Thomsen on

Because panda eyes suit a panda best :-)

You probably know it. You just need to wash your hair, you're going out on the town or you just want to look good without the big arm movements and without getting your makeup smeared... but then, even though you try to avoid getting water and shampoo in your eyes during the shower, it still runs down your face despite your efforts to avoid it. I've been in that situation many times myself and it annoys me that I have to start over with my makeup. Dark circles around my eyes are the result. Panda eyes.
